Saturday, 9th June 2.30pm-5.00pm, Royal Foundation Room

As a national monument to the first Duke of Wellington, Wellington College is very fortunate to have a rich collection of artifacts and artworks. The Friends of Heritage Day is a chance to celebrate Wellington’s amazing heritage and an opportunity to become a part of the Friends of Wellington Heritage Group; a new venture aiming to conserve some of College’s most treasured possessions. This year the programme will focus on the Battle of Waterloo and our links with it, with expert talks from historian Dr Patrick Mileham, Head of Art History Adam Rattray, and College Archivist Caroline Jones.

A light lunch will be included as part of the programme.
