Dear Wellington Community,
We are truly sorry to be sending you another message about Joanna’s memorial on 7th February. However, we wanted to ensure that all those who plan to come had been able to sign up for a memorial ticket, which will be sent to you by email once registered. If you haven’t yet done this and want to come, then please find the link below. Once you have clicked the link you need to click the ‘register’ button. From here you will be able to select the number of tickets you require along with your name and email. If you are unsure whether you have already registered, then please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we can check this for you.
This will give us a record of everybody who plans to come to the service, and also provides an indication of catering numbers for the following reception. We are assuming that most people will be staying on for drinks and a bite to eat and you are warmly invited to do so if you are able. The service itself is due to last for an hour from 17:00 – 18:00.
Please do not feel under any pressure to come. We know that many of you will be away or have other arrangements. We would all like to say how deeply touched we have been by all the wellington community’s messages of support.
The memorial, designed by Joanna, will be presided over by Baroness Julia Neuberger and musicians from Wellington College will be performing. She planned it as an upbeat and fitting commemoration of the wonderfully positive and happy life that she enjoyed, not the least in her ten happy years at Wellington at the end of her life.. Do feel free (in true Joanna style) to wear a pop of colour if you are able to join us.
With our love
Anthony, Jessica, Susie and Adam Seldon
